Can you believe we're over two years old now?! WOO!

(Who as a rule, will not use her own artwork as the 'featured deviation' of this club.) Club founder and administrator, running this shindig all alone We love you founder - all glory to the founder! - Not really! However, due to there only being one person running the club, it updates on an approx. 2-monthly basis. All notes, messages and other communication will get read though, so be patient ^^

Here, we specialise in furry and anthro art of the characters from the critically acclaimed cult anime series, Fullmetal Alchemist. If you are reading this, then you obviously clicked a link to this page and have a vague interest in either the anime or the furry art style. (If this is not the reason for clicking here, you are still very welcome to look around. Just don't insult us for no reason - if you don't like FMA or furry art that's up to you, but don't post abuse just because we do! We're all friends here after all )

This club is open to everyone, there are only a few requirements:
You must like FMA. It doesn't have to be your favourite anime, but if it is that's an added bonus!
The art posted here must be either furry or anthro. This means the characters must be drawn as animals (not necessarily dogs... and not necessarily furry - lizards, amphibians, insects and birds also welcome. Be creative! We even accept Pokemon!). PLEASE NOTE: Adding animal ears and a tail to a character does not make them anthro! Anthro implies a full coat of fur/scales/feathers and animal characteristics.
We welcome OCs, but they MUST be related to FMA in some way and they MUST be drawn as either anthro or furry.
Art of the written form is also accepted here (fanfics, poetry etc.), but the character(s) in the story MUST be anthro, with anthro characteristics (fur, claws etc.) and not just with animal ears or a tail (e.g. fangirl 'chimera' style... see here for an unacceptable anthro).
No Yaoi/Yuri 'mature' artwork or Yif... we don't do anime animal porn here! Mild Shonen/Shojo Ai is allowed.
Have fun! And remember, this is a community, so the more you put in, the more you get out - so comment on fellow members work and let them know how great they are!

Joining

1. Watch the club by adding it to your friends list. This way you can recieve all the latest updates and stuff.

2. Send a NOTE with the subject 'Join' to the club. You MUST do this - simply watching the club won't do and you won't be added as a member unless you ALSO request to join. Of course, you can still watch the club and not be a member - it's your choice, but non-members cannot submit art or enter contests.

3. We would be greatly appreciated if you could put a link to the club somewhere on your journal. This is not a necessity, but it does help encourage more members to join. Spread the word and let anyone you think may be interested in joining know about us

Follow these simple steps to become a Dog of the Military!

Submitting

1. You MUST be a member to submit artwork.

2. Send a note to the club with the title 'Submissions'. Include in your note the URLs of the images you wish to submit - up to 5 per note.

3. Be patient - we will have received your note and processing it could take a while. We only have so much spare time!

PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL ONLY SUBMIT ART IF WE HAVE THE ARTWORK OWNERS PERMISSION TO DO SO - WE MUST HAVE RECEIVED A MESSAGE OR NOTE REQUESTING A SUBMISSION, OR ELSE THE ARTWORK OWNER KNOWS AND AGREES TO IT'S SUBMISSION. ARTWORK IS NEVER USED ELSEWHERE FOR OTHER PURPOSES. IF THE ARTWORK IS DEEMED UNSUITABLE, IT WILL NOT BE SUBMITTED!
